Tapas is a popular way of eating all over Spain and there are many tales about its origins, some claiming it was started by various Spanish kings and others that its roots are more humble, coming from farm labourers needing a little sustenance whilst toiling in the fields.

Whatever the truth, eating tapas is a fantastic way to try a variety of delicious food. Having a local guide accompany you will greatly enrich your tapas experience and will also give a taste of what it is like to live in Seville. Book this tour at the start of your stay to get the most out of it

Your English speaking guide will meet you at your Seville hotel and, depending on your culinary tastes, will tailor the tour for you. You will be taken to three tapas bars, where your guide will talk you through the menus whilst sharing many anecdotes and stories about life in Seville, its people, cutoms and traditions.

The tour last approximately 3 hours and you will try a minimum of two tapas per bar including 4 drinks of either beer, wine or soft drinks. At the end of the tour your guide will walk you back to your hotel. Your guide will also recommend other bars and restaurants for you to try during the rest of your stay and will make restaurant bookings for you if you wish. (Please note, normally you cannot book tables for tapas).
